REJUVINATING FURNITURE  IN PETERBOROUGH SINCE 2015

Born from an enthusiasm for recycling, I started upcycling out of necessity because I wanted something different and I love unique items. I have always been passionate about updating furniture and giving it a new lease of life.

 

Fortunately, I was able to turn a passionate hobby into a successful business. I started The Revamp Shack in December 2015 from my home and had a small retail  unit where I sold my pieces.  But I decided that creating bespoke pieces for individuals using their own furniture gives me so much more pleasure.  So I am now based in a workshop Workspace House in Peterborough.

 

My painting style is varied and includes the arts of stencilling and decoupage, alongside various paint techniques to give a shabby chic, rustic, or more modern contemporary look to a piece. I use only the finest, hand-picked materials and finishes in every project, and do everything to use local sources where possible.

I belong to The Furniture Artists Collective which is a team of independent furniture artists, upcyclers, crafters, and designers who share a love for vintage and heirloom pieces that tell a story.  We are and industry partner to the British Institute of Interior Design.  Our artisans are not only skilled but also bursting with ideas to bring your vision to life.
